What is Biogas?

Biogas typically refers to a gas produced by the anaerobic digestion or fermentation of organic matter including biodegradable municipal waste (BMW), commercial industrial waste, farmyard manure and numerous other biodegradable material.

Biogas typically comprises primarily 55% methane (CH₄) and 40% carbon dioxide (CO₂).
